My first trip to the countryside in NY_Phoenicia_USA_July 2017

After living in NYC for about 3 months, I did my first trip to the countryside in NY. I took a bus to Phoenicia (NY). Phoenicia is a hamlet, about 3-hour drive from NYC, and 30 min drive from Woodstock. About 400 people live in Phoenicia. 

Just a few seconds after arrival to Phoenicia, realize that I love it. Why? Because it is so green, clean and peaceful. Together with my friends, Marc and Marie-Claire, and their cute grand-children, I have had a great time in Phoenicia! 

Unexpectedly, during my 2-day stay in Phoenicia, I met a poet, a journalist and a woman making illustrations for books for children. Moreover, I enjoyed fauna and flora there – below I am sharing the photos that I took during my stay in Phoenicia.
